Italy: AIFS Global Education Center in Rome

Study abroad this summer in the historic city of Rome, Italy! Overflowing with historical, cultural, and artistic significance, Rome is an excellent place to dive into a wide range of academic disciplines. Explore iconic landmarks like the Pantheon and the Colosseum, while you taste your way through the local culture with Roman gelato, espresso, pizza, and pasta. Multiple sessions are offered in the summer, including Classics and Sociology.

Looking for a longer study abroad experience? Combine one or two summer sessions with our Food Studies May Term program in Rome!

Where You'll Study

The AIFS Abroad Global Education Center in Rome is in the heart of the city within walking distance of historic sites such as the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Classes are held in the AIFS Abroad Center and the Resident Director is based there to help students adjust to life in Italy and provide a friendly and familiar face. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and there are a small number of computers for student use/printing. Academic credit for the AIFS Abroad Rome program is awarded by Fairfield University, AIFS Abroad School of Record. Fairfield is a fully accredited university and member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
