Program Overview

Your Summer Arabic Language program in Rabat lasts 8 weeks and is designed for all levels of Arabic language learners. You will choose from CIEE courses taught in-person at CIEE Rabat. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Moroccan culture. Live and learn in Rabat!

CIEE's excursions and cultural activities in Rabat will open doors for you to explore Morocco's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities:

Explore thousands of years of history with a guided tour of Rabat's UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Old Medina and Kasbah, the ancient ruins of Chellah, and the Andalusian Gardens
Take weekly trips outside the classroom to apply your language skills at locations such as the National Jewelry Museum, ICESCO headquarters, or a local newspaper
Get lost in the red-walled medina of Marrakech, one of Morocco's four imperial cities, and watch the sun set as street performers, musicians, and storytellers appear in Jemaa el-Fnaa

Academics

CIEE Rabat:?Study in the diverse and modern neighborhood of Agdal in central Rabat, only a few miles from the city's historic Hassan Tower and lovely Chellah gardens. CIEE Rabat is housed in a charming villa, featuring three main classrooms, a Moroccan-style social area, and a peaceful outdoor space.
