Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Prague lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: a full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Czech culture. Live, learn, and work in Prague!

Samples of past excursions and activities:

Head outside of Prague to towns like Kutná Hora and Ceský Krumlov, known for their well-preserved Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture
Build professional skills through workshops and site visits to local startups, accelerators, and art venues
Join weekly CIEE events to bond with fellow students and locals – take a paddleboat ride on the Vltava, create Czech souvenirs, or cook traditional dishes

Academics

CIEE Prague: Study in the Vyšehrad neighborhood of Prague, situated in a beautiful park-like setting only 25 minutes from the city's famous Old Town Square. CIEE Prague features 10 classrooms, a student lounge, a student life office, a library, a study space, a café, and an outdoor space.

GAIN Travel Grants - Up to $1,500 toward travel costs guaranteed to students with a FAFSA SAI of $10,000 or less. Higher should still apply!

Gilman Go Global Grants - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $1,000 guaranteed to Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship applicants.

Merit-Based Scholarships - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $750/summer awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
